Documentation
Every command Gaius offers to your server, what it does and how to use it. 118 commands across 15 sections.
Getting started
Gaius answers to text commands that start with your server's prefix. The default prefix is !, so the ping command is !ping. Admins can change it with !prefix.
Many commands are also available as Discord slash commands; each command below shows whether it has one, and the options its slash version takes. Use !help or /help in Discord to look up any command without leaving the server.
Reading the usage lines
- member — a placeholder: replace it with your own value (a mention, an ID or a name).
[ ... ]— the part inside is optional.a/b— choose one of the options.- Durations are written like
1w 2d 3h 4m.
Check your prefix
In the event you don't remember your prefix you may use the !checkprefix command. This also doubles as a test if the bot can post in your channel as it will post before any automod or commands.
Permission levels
Every command is labelled with the lowest level that can use it. Each level also includes everyone above it.
| Level | Who has it |
|---|---|
| Everyone | Any member of the server. |
| Helper | Members or roles added as helpers with !staff. |
| Moderator | Members or roles added as mods with !staff. |
| Admin | Members with the Discord Manage Server or Administrator permission, and members or roles added as admins with !staff. |
Admins can change these defaults for any command with Command Permissions, and turn whole modules (bans, kicks, mutes, warns, verify, tickets and so on) on or off with !module. A command labelled with a module only works while that module is enabled.
